Party-loving fans of Val d’Isere’s vibrant après ski scene are in for a treat this winter, with the news that there’s a new bar in town!

The Cocorico Bar is located in the centre of the resort and will boast jumping après ski sessions with live bands, DJ sessions, happy hours and of course bags of atmosphere.

The new bar is owned by the same team behind the perennially popular Doudoune Club, which bodes well for the Cocorico because the Doudoune Club is widely considered to be among Val’s best venues!

You’ll find the Cocorico Bar at the bottom of the Face and Solaise runs in the centre of Val – an ideal spot for thirsty skiers coming off the mountain and looking for a drinking den.

The ski in/out location is temptation enough in itself, but the mountain views from the bar’s terrace will no doubt seal the deal for many and we fully expect the Cocorico Bar to do well in its maiden season.

The doors swing open on the 12th December - just as World Cup Alpine Racing fever comes to town - and they’re already taking table reservations for groups keen to ensure a seat.Â
