We have some very sad news to announce – unfortunately, the much loved V Spot Bar has served its last drink to holiday makers in Val d’Isère. The bar that was situated right in the centre of Val on one of the main roundabouts used to offer fantastic après nibbles, fab DJ sets at night, and excellent themed evenings including Toss the Boss. The news comes as a shock to us all! 

Every cloud has a silver lining however – Bananas Bar has announced its full reopening for the upcoming season. Bananas has not been the same since a fire broke out in December 2011, and put the popular bar out of action for almost the entire season. Since that time, they have been offering drinks on the terrace for après, but as of this December, the bar will be newly renovated and back in full flow. Bananas offers fantastic prices on drinks, happy hour deals, and some really good tex mex food. It was one of our favourite haunts back in the day, and is likely to be again this season. Bring on opening day in 2 weeks!
