Val d'Isere is part of the massive Espace Killy ski area. Steeped in history Val d'Isere has built its reputation over numerous years through dedication and continued understanding, bringing it to the world class ski resort we have today.
With over 300 km of slopes in the Espace Killy area, including not only Val d'Isere (or 'Val' as it is known) but the neighbouring villages within Tignes, it has something to offer all ability of skiers and snow boarders. For those looking for the untouched snow, Val d'Isere has some extreme areas of off piste skiing available - challenging even the expert skiers amongst us.
The après ski on offer is almost as renowned as the skiing with plenty to choose from throughout the resort. There is a vast array of restaurants scattered throughout Val d'Isere, to cover those on a specific budget to the a-la-carte restaurants for that special occasion or just as an excuse to sample the exquisite French cuisine. There are plenty of alternative activities available to keep non-skiers entertained during the day.
