Situated just across the road from the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts and ski schools - everything you need is right on your doorstep.
The Moris is a small chalethotel with the sociable feel of a chalet. The views are great, the location perfect and the atmosphere special. You get the feeling that people have been enjoying themselves here for years hence it feels like a club, instantly familiar and completely unpretentious. The kind of place where you make life long friends and return year after year as many of our guests do. The Moris chalethotel is reserved exclusively for adults outside of the main school holidays.
Up on the first floor the dining room is lovely and warm with great views over the village and mountains. The lounge bar is small but fun, certainly well stocked and perfectly relaxing after a hard day's skiing.
The lively Moris Pub is just downstairs and is one of the most popular bars in Val d'Isere, so may not be suitable for all groups.
The bedrooms are simple but comfortable and there are plenty of single rooms available. Most rooms have their own bath or shower and some have W.C's. Single and room share options are available for solo travellers. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | The chefs in this chalethotel are all professionally trained. Where possible, ingredients are locally sourced to ensure the freshest food, and we incorporate local specialties into the menu.
Breakfast:
Start the day with a choice of cooked breakfast, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, local breads and pastries, preserves and honey. Plentiful fruit juices, teas, coffees or hot chocolate are available.
Afternoon Tea:
Return to a selection of freshly baked cakes, biscuits, bread, jams and honey. If you'd prefer, there's also a warming soup, along with a choice of teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
Dinner:
Each evening you will be served a three-course dinner offering a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options. On two evenings, including arrival night, a buffet is served. Otherwise the daily menu offers a choice of three starters and three main courses and a selection of desserts or local cheeses.
On Thursday nights the chefs and chalet staff have a night off giving guests the opportunity to sample the local restaurants. The staff will be happy to book a table and arrange transport for you. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served as usual on this day.
Complimentary wine:
To accompany your meal there's a choice of carefully selected red and white wines. These are complimentary and are available throughout dinner until coffee is served.
Sociable bars:
For that well-earned pre or post-dinner drink, the chalethotel has a bar featuring happy hours and a cocktail of the day. Simply charge drinks to your room and settle the bill at the end of your stay. |
Additional Information: | ::back to top | For those who prefer not to hear the patter of tiny ski boots whilst in the Alps, the Moris is one of a collection of chalethotels which are reserved exclusively for over 18's outside of the main school holidays when children over 7 are welcome. |
