Prices Include: UK Flights  | Transfers | Accommodation Chalet Amelia one of the three Persval Skiing Chalets is in one of the best situated buildings in Val d'Isere. In the heart of the old village and across the road from the Solaise nursery slopes, Ameila has the perfect location for a wonderful holiday. You can ski or board virtually to the door and the nearest lifts and ski school meeting points are just across the road. Val d'Isere village centre with its shops and bars, is a two minute walk away. The convenience of this catered chalet to both the village facilities and the ski slopes makes our three Persval chalets; Amelia, Isla & Ruby some our most popular chalets.
The Persval building was designed and built as a small apartment block comprised of studios and apartments on three floors. Within the building we operate three catered chalets; Amelia, Isla and Ruby . Bedrooms can be described as functional but are of a good size, well equipped and are mostly en-suite.
Skiing from the Chalet:
Wonderfully easy access to the skiing & boarding. The Persval chalets are directly across the road from the Solaise nursery slopes from where it is possible to ski to the major lifts that will whisk you up into the vast "Espace Killy". You are no more than 2 minutes away from the meeting points of all the major ski schools and at the end of the day it is possible to ski back virtually to the door. |

Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 both have a small kitchen area with fridge, a cabine area with bunks and French windows with access onto forecourt.
N.B. This skiing chalet is probably not suited to groups with young children as the two bedrooms off the lounge are separated from the remaining three bedrooms by a short corridor and the entrance hallway of the Persval building. |
Catering: | ::back to top | | Breakfast is provided every morning and consists of tea, coffee, fruit juice, porridge, muesli, cereal, yoghurts, plus bread, jams and honey. In addition, there will ba a variety of cooked items offered each day, eg: fried egg and sausages, scrambled egg with croissants, with a full English breakfast offered on one day per week.
On the chalet staff day off breakfast is a D.I.Y. affair, with guests being given the opportunity to cook their own breakfast!
Afternoon tea is prepared and left out for you to help yourself after your skiing or snowboarding, and consists of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, jams, etc., plus a homemade cake or biscuits or scones.
Dinner served on 6 nights a week, normally served around eight o'clock, is a delicious three course meal plus cheese accompanied by good quality house red and white wine with coffee and tea to finish.
For those guests perhaps wanting to purchase another wine for a special occasion, we have a short wine list available.
Let us know in advance if there are vegetarians or individuals with specific food allergies, and we will make sure that the menus are devised with these requirements in mind. |

With our ability to be flexible in the use of rooms, we are able to cater for groups of up to 26 people using the dining facilities with Chalets Ruby & Isla.
