Prices Include: UK Flights  | Transfers | Accommodation Chalet Ruby is one of the best situated buildings in Val d Isere comprising of rooms on the second floor of the Persval building. There are three bedrooms; one en-suite double room which has two additional single beds on a mezzanine, a further double room with its own shower and another bedroom that has a single bed and a small double on a mezzanine. Bedrooms can be described as functional but are of a good size and well equipped.
There is a comfortable lounge / dining room, with an open plan kitchen and a south facing balcony with views across the nursery slopes to the Face de Bellvarde (Olympic downhill run).
The Persval building (in which Chalet Ruby is located) is in an ideal position within Val d'Isere; behind the church in the old part of town, just across the road from the nursery slopes, two minutes walk to the tourist office and Train Rouge bus stops.
The location of catered chalet Ruby within Val d'Isere with its ease of access to the ski slopes and proximity to all the shops, bars and restaurants makes it one of our most popular Val d'Isere ski chalets and a great place for a wonderful skiing holiday.
Skiing from the Chalet:
Wonderfully easy access to the skiing & boarding of Val d'Isere. The Persval skiing chalets are directly across the road from the Solaise nursery slopes from where it is possible to ski to the major lifts that will whisk you up into the vast 'Espace Killy'. You are no more than 2 minutes away from the meeting points of all the major ski schools and at the end of the day it is possible to ski or board back virtually to the door. |

NOTE: Chalet Ruby can easily accommodate 9 people using the extra beds in bedrooms 11 & 12B. If you have a group of this size please let us advise you of the best combination of rooms for your party. |
Catering: | ::back to top | | Breakfast is provided every morning and consists of tea, coffee, fruit juice, porridge, muesli, cereal, yoghurts, plus bread, jams and honey. In addition, there will ba a variety of cooked items offered each day, eg: fried egg and sausages, scrambled egg with croissants, with a full English breakfast offered on one day per week.
On the chalet staff day off breakfast is a D.I.Y. affair, with guests being given the opportunity to cook their own breakfast!
Afternoon tea is prepared and left out for you to help yourself after your skiing or snowboarding, and consists of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, jams, etc., plus a homemade cake or biscuits or scones.
Dinner served on 6 nights a week, normally served around eight o'clock, is a delicious three course meal plus cheese accompanied by good quality house red and white wine with coffee and tea to finish.
For those guests perhaps wanting to purchase another wine for a special occasion, we have a short wine list available.
Let us know in advance if there are vegetarians or individuals with specific food allergies, and we will make sure that the menus are devised with these requirements in mind. |

Persval was originally constructed as a small apartment block with a combination of studios and apartments. The studios have been linked with the larger apartments to create three catered chalets; Ruby, Amelia & Isla. By combining these three chalets Persval has the potential to accommodate groups of up to 27 people, with catering split between the three dining rooms.
