Prices Include: UK Flights | Transfers | Accommodation This traditionally styled Savoyarde chalet is quite a landmark situated at the foot of the infamous Face run on Bellevarde (home of the February 2009 World Cup Men's downhill); you can ski from the door to the main lifts, nursery slopes and ski school meeting points so absolutely ideal for families as well as keen skiers. The brave (& foolhardy!), can "face the Face" to ski back the rest of us mere mortals would probably find an alternative route! The amenities and facilities of the resort centre are just a five minute stroll away.
The Chamois d’Or has a superb atmosphere with a relaxed and Savoyarde ambiance. The airy dining room has a wall of picture windows offering superb views towards Solaise and the Manchet Valley, there is a small in house bar next to a huge open fireplace with comfortable settees, perfect for a pre dinner aperitif or nightcap or two!! Next door to the bar is a smaller lounge, ideal for children and adults alike to play cards or board games or watch their dvd's on the large TV.

Catering: | ::back to top | | Good quality ingredients and imaginative menus are the basis for our chalet cuisine. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily but on the chalet staff day off, there is no evening meal, leaving you free to sample one of the local restaurants.
Breakfast: - a buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and jams accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition there is either a daily cooked option such as scrambled egg and tomato (not a full English!) served each day apart from the chalet staff day off and changeover day. For the traditional skiers amongst you we can of course offer porridge on request!
Afternoon Tea: - discuss the day's skiing with your fellow guests whilst helping yourself to afternoon tea. Bread and jam and a slice (or two) of delicious home-made cake or biscuits should help keep hunger pangs at bay until dinner time.
Dinner: - your chalet hosts serve a delicious 3-course meal at 8pm giving you plenty of time to rest aching muscles and recuperate after your day skiing. House wine is available throughout dinner until coffee to finish.
Wine: - we serve a house red and white wine; a small wine list is available in your chalet should you wish to purchase additional wines or you can of course choose to purchase your own wines in resort.
Children's Supper: - we provide a child friendly supper at around 6pm for all children under 12 years, if you have sole use of the chalet and you would prefer your children to eat a normal dinner with you at 8pm there is a £50 upgrade. For those in a shared chalet it is generally expected that under 12s would have the early supper.
The Chalet staff always aim to please and as much as possible will adapt their menus to your specific tastes and dietary requests however we cannot provide vegan, kosher or gluten-free meals and cannot guarantee a nut free environment. |
